Photography is FREE
That statement is my null hypothesis.  The null hypothesis is generally assumed to be true until evidence indicates otherwise.  I learned about the concept of the null hypothesis in my grad school statistics courses.  I am applying that concept to my photography business.  My proposal is that photography is free.  Since 2011, I have been frustrated by the complication caused by money in the business of photography.
I selected this photograph for this article because it has received the most recognition of all my work in the past year or so.  It's a good photograph, but it's not great art.  I did not create the double rainbow. But, I was ready to capture it with my camera and edited the RAW image in a way that I knew would be pleasing to many people. I also knew that I needed to post the image quickly. I took the picture at 8:20 PM, and I posted the edited photog

There should be no repercussions in taking photographs. Capturing the daily events in society and being able to take photos of our world should have no price. It is our freedom and right to be able to do such acts. I am glad that you have been spreading awareness of free photography. For photographers that have been silenced before for something that is rightfully theirs, they are rejoicing for every word you have written in this article.

I agree with you in some ways, photography is free. You do not need any professional fees or entrance fees to get into the world of photography. You are free to do whatever you want with your photographs. You are free to take on the world and capture it. The mere idea and essence of photography is free, but in the real world money is needed for photography so that people can do it. Cameras are not free, accessories for your camera is not free, your services to other people are not free.

Photography is an art; a discipline. Photography takes years of practice to get every shot perfect. Just because you have a DSLR camera doesn't mean that you're a photographer already. People invested their time, effort, and money just to be better than this. I think photographers must be payed for their services but photography as it is must be free.

Photography will always be free. You do not need to have an expensive camera all to go to an expensive photography class just to be a professional photographer. You can be a professional photographer even if you only have a mobile camera. Your dedication and art of taking pictures will define you as one. Every person can be a professional photographer in their own ways.
